The Magic Begins - 30 Day Harry Potter ChallengeDay Three - Favourite Movie
There were a lot of both good and bad things about all the movie adaptations for the Harry Potter series, but I think of all of them, I enjoyed Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince the most. I think it stayed very true to the source material without trying to include absolutely EVERYTHING; better choices were made versus previous instalments about minor inclusions and what was important. There was also much less of random, inserted, non-canon filler.  It was dark (as it needed to be), and a wry sense of humour was well maintained throughout.  I really enjoyed the actor who played Professor Slughorn, as I thought he very well captured the balance in Slughorn as a character as he wasn’t a bad man, he just was not a brave one.  I enjoyed Rupert Grint a lot in this show as well, and I was super excited, however cheesy it was, that they kept Lav Lav and Won Won (though a little Weasley is Our King would not have gone awry).

What was your favourite of the movie adaptations?
